ok am i right to say that a poseur is someone who acts/dresses in a particular way so as to impress or influence others and trys to be something their not? so since everyone calls every other person a poseur then who are the originals? i call beatrice a poseur. but that doesnt make me a not poseur. im probably a poseur too just that i dont know it or i make it less obvious.but i for one do not think im a poseur. i do not dress to impress or try to be somthing im not. then again everyone says that but who really means it? this brings me to bands. why does someone (a hawthrone heights fan) get angry when someone else ( a britney fan) starts listning to hawtrone heights. then they'll be all like YOU POSEUR. YOU STUPID BLOODY POSEUR. GO BACK TO BRITNEY. couldnt it be that the britney fan just discovered hawthorne heights and their nice-ness. maybe they are shocked that somepeople actually listen to different types of music. and whats there to be angry about. the better their fan base here is the more likely they are to come and perform and stuff. not that thats ever gonna happen but still. wouldnt you want the band you like to have alot of fans(whether they are fans or self proclaimed fans) so they like have better success and stuff. does it mean that a person has to look a certain way or dress in black or have a certain attitude to listen to hawthrone heights?? lets just leave that to the 'originals'. so what im saying is the originals are poseurs so everyones a poseur. you just dont realise it cause the original people are better at covering up then the poseurs who write their song lyrics everywhere(ok we know you like them get over yourself) and find everyone opportunity to sing their songs(yes we also know you know their lyrics. you just wrote them all over your file??) but then again maybe the person is just a hardcore fan. who knows? but i have no right to say anything cause im just gonna call beatrice a poseur the next time i see her. sigh. all this confusion.
